Quad/Graphics Second Press Operator in Waseca, Minnesota

Quad/Graphics is currently seeking a Second Press Operator for our Waseca, MN location. This position will manage the print process and crew as directed by the First Press Operator. Set up, color quality, color adjustments, ensure printed quality, conforms to customer specifications, and may assist in training employees and giving general directions assigned to certain press employees. Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Plans and organizes the job by reviewing schedule and job ticket, identifying priorities, assigning roles, and maintaining production records,
Monitors signature quality by setting and monitoring color,
Maintain register, fold, and compensation, identifying and correcting problems.
Sets up/operates equipment by setting up press computers, units, folder, and auxiliary equipment and performing preventative maintenance,
Able to web up press,
Able to match the product appearance to the sample from the customer including precise color.
Able to meet directly with customers for color okay process.
Must have eye/hand coordination when inside the unit while making adjustments,
Ability to utilize the computer to ensure quality of the product,
Ability to watch for and accurately identify color defects on product
Keep work area clean by sweeping floor, or picking up loose paper

Must have worked as a Press Assistant prior to this position.
Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in a controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to work 8-hour rotating shifts including days, nights, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Previous print industry experience is preferred.
