The TA Manager, Manufacturing will collaborate with Quad/Graphics’ executive leadership and field HR organization to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies required to support our national network of nearly 70 plants. The role will ensure an ongoing sourcing strategy to sustain Quad’s current and future talent needs in our production facilities while maintaining compliance and process controls. The role will continually look for innovative ways to develop, manage, and deliver recruitment services to the operations organization. This role will lead a team responsible for providing ongoing recruitment market data, strategic sourcing to key locations, development of community outreach programs, delivering end to end recruiting support to critical locations, along with providing the structure and governance through which the local HR teams can execute on Quad’s hiring process.
PrimaryResponsibilities (Includes but not limited to):
Partnerwith HR, operations and functional leaders to assess hiring needs atcritical locations
Providestructure and guidance to items related to recruitment and onboarding
Overseeand manage current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System(ATS)
Ensurea positive candidate experience from application to onboarding
Designand deliver pipeline programs to ensure Quad can meet current and futuretalent demands
Manageoutreach programming to schools and workforce development organizations
Leadershipof a team of recruiting professionals
Providecreative sourcing methods (internal and external) for difficult to fillpositions
Leadchange management efforts related to the recruiting service delivery
Supportsclosing plants in an effort to retain critical talent for the organization
Partnerswith marketing to develop recruiting collateral
Managesapplication/resume file and document retention according to company policy
Negotiateemployment agency and direct hire contracts as needed
Provideoverflow support for team when hiring demands increase includinginterviewing candidates, screening, attending on site career fairs, etc.
Increaseemployer brand awareness through social media recruiting and campusrecruiting activities Work with in house counsel and other managers inHuman Resources to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws andregulations
Otherduties and projects as assigned
Bachelor’sdegree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or equivalentexperience
5or more years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisitionrelated positions
1or more years in Recruiting including full life cycle recruitmentpreferably at a large organization
Experiencein a high volume recruiting environment, preferably at a manufacturingorganization
Highlevel of attention to detail
Experiencewith social media including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
Experiencewith an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or HRIS tools
Abilityto work with confidential / sensitive information
Collaborativeapproach with team and other areas within the company
Knowledgeof regulatory compliance issues and best practices related to recruiting
Flexibilityto adjust to meet business demands in a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeof Microsoft Office Suite
