Quad/Graphics Patient Advocate in Sussex, Wisconsin

Position Overview:

The Patient Advocate responds to patient-facing inquiries of QuadMed. Further, this individual works to maintain, develop and strengthen the patient-provider relationship through the development, coordination and support of the overall objectives of QuadMed’s mission and vision, along with the compliance program and policies. This includes call intake, participating in special projects, compliance auditing and monitoring activities and promoting staff/provider training and education.


  • Ensures accurate recording, tracking and completeness of all reported incidents.

  • Assists with the development of tools or metrics to track the overall effectiveness of the patient incident reporting program and processes.

  • Plans, coordinates and implements patient incident reporting and compliance program awareness, education and training.

  • Fosters employee confidence that reporting makes a difference in the organization.

  • Collaborates with other departments to implement process improvement.

  • Supports the Compliance Department generally with performance of other compliance and risk-related duties as requested.


The compliance department ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulatory requirements, that the company’s policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior within the organization meets the health care industry’s and company’s standards and code of business conduct.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, information systems, or related field.


  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the healthcare industry; preferably within in a healthcare audit, privacy, risk management or compliance role.

  • Knowledge of auditing and monitoring principles

  • Knowledge of medical practices and procedures to educate and communicate with both internal and external customers.
