Job Description

Finishing Lead: job duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Train, direct and coordinate theactivities of hourly manufacturing in the finishing department in order to meetcustomer requirements of quality and on time deliveries.

  • Coordinate production activitieswith other departments.

  • Ensure safe work environment andenforce all safety policies and procedures.

  • Give direction to staff for optimumperformance, providing technical and organizational leadership as it relates todaily production requirements.

  • Assess readiness of job tickets,construction proofs, and other job instructions.

  • Effectively communicate with otherfunctional areas and department leaders.

  • Work with project coordinators andsales representatives and respond to their requests in a prompt andprofessional manner as needed.

  • Assist with production to meetcustomer needs as required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

  • HSdiploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of supervisory or related experiencepreferred but not limited to.

  • Experiencein finishing preferred. Other complex manufacturing disciplines willbe considered.

  • Basiccomputer skills

Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess good follow-up skills and excellent communication and organizational skills.
