Job Description

Finishing Lead: job duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Train, direct and coordinate the activities of hourly manufacturing in the finishing department in order to meet customer requirements of quality and on time deliveries.

  • Coordinate production activities with other departments.

  • Ensure safe work environment and enforce all safety policies and procedures.

  • Give direction to staff for optimum performance, providing technical and organizational leadership as it relates to daily production requirements.

  • Assess readiness of job tickets, construction proofs, and other job instructions.

  • Effectively communicate with other functional areas and department leaders.

  • Work with project coordinators and sales representatives and respond to their requests in a prompt and professional manner as needed.

  • Assist with production to meet customer needs as required.


Education and Experience :

  • HS diploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of supervisory or related experience preferred but not limited to.

  • Experience in finishing preferred. Other complex manufacturing disciplines will be considered.

  • Basic computer skills

Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess good follow-up skills and excellent communication and organizational skills.
