Quad/Graphics Truckload Pricing Analyst in Bolingbrook, Illinois
The logistics division of Quad/Graphics, QuadExpress is responsible for moving billions of pounds of time-sensitive freight annually. As a consultative partner, we design customized solutions to deliver our customers’ freight, whether that’s by road or rail, air or sea.
The Truckload Pricing Analyst is responsible for working with service contracts, rate requests, tenders and tariff implementation. Their role will also include working with contract and/or spot bids on a daily basis. Carry out presentations, work with spreadsheets and participate in meetings. Will negotiate service contract freight rates and terms and conditions. They also need to respond to spot shipment rate requests and implement tariffs. Responsible for profitability/margins and has final approval on all truckload rates that are offered from the Carrier Sales Team. Also, responsible for quoting our spot/static internal print freight within Quad/Graphics. Pricing Coordinator will also be responsible in participating in and prepare strategy meetings.
A Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Strong Knowledge in the shipping industry
Commercial and economical awareness that effectthe shipping industry
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
Transportation experience preferred
Great work ethic, attention to detail andorganizational skills
Goal driven and highly motivated
Strong customer service skills
Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable working with all levels of corporatepersonnel
